Duty calls

What rotten weather!

I woke up this morning planning to get stuff done before going to work in the Community Stores at 2pm.

We set off in mist with peeking sunshine. Mist turned to Mizzle. Mizzle to Drizzle. Drizzle to downpour! Bang goes my outdoor woodworking!

Tess had to go to the V-e-t for her boosters. First time since her stay in the very expensive veterinary hospital. We have never seen her so anxious, she almost dragged me out of the door!!

Anyway, rain and vets put paid to my DIY for the day, now it's dark at 4 there is no chance of jobs after I get home from a stint volunteering.

There's always tomorrow.
