The Pierhead at 6 pm

Another incredible day. It was hard to see the roads for the leaves when cycling around. Many seem to have fallen even though there still hasn't been any wind to speak of. Down at the waterfront, there was just the slightest ripple so that the reflections were not as good as yesterday. We are always told that the best time for "night" pictures is just before it gets dark, when there is still some colour left in the sky. The trouble is that the lights in the building on the left only started to come on when it got dark.
