Favourite tree.

In the winter, this tree looks dead, but every year it sprouts more and more healthy branches and leaves. It looks like the top was hit by lightening, or a gale but it obviously has a strong heart.
It's on the Fawsley estate which was laid out by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown so it'd be amazing if this dates back to then... The cedars are all still standing, so it's possible.
This tree is one of many in an allee which used to be a racecourse or exercise run.
