Towards Gurness (Day 539)

The overnight rain left the path up the hill this morning a bit wet and muddy this morning, but thankfully the wind had eased off a bit.
Unfortunately the wind seemed to rise again, and by the time my beautiful wife and I took the dogs off to Aikerness, there was a strong, cold wind blowing. An icy shower reminded us that this is November. I snapped this shot just before getting back into the warmth of the car.
