Smiling Is Easy

So says the Sparkasse Bank Ad  'Lächlen ist einfach ' Not an exact translation as the German Language has no continuous tense  but you get the idea.This ad is at the end of Reich Straße , a beautiful tree lined street with more trees all the way up the middle . Where it meets Theodor Heuss Platz there's a small sort of island with three benches and cylindrical stone stools .This is my haven where I can sit and enjoy regular time with the birds . In the middle of the traffic, but safe as houses with  a take away coffee , I sit  and the bird  'on watch' starts sending the message around .The juveniles are still a little twitchy but the mature birds ( looking as if they are wearing shades) have no fear. Maybe the Berlin authorities could name this island Place of the Birds or Vögel Platz .It's been poor weather today but was still fun.  Had to cross the city , masses of birds there ,( see extra)  more rain and guess what ?  It's true ' smiling is easy .'...
