More of autumn
My first job today was to make an appointment for Mum to go to the surgery. There is no GP at Humshaugh on a Tuesday morning, but one of our excellent practice nurses is there.
The consultation was first rate. Mum's oxygen saturation was OK, which was a relief. She came away with an improved regime for her medication and a further increase in her steroid dosage.
The plumber came to fix two dripping taps.
I picked lots of apples and there are lots left on the trees.
Mum had a lovely surprise in the form of a small parcel from the "other Bellingham". She is thrilled - such a kind thought.
I picked up these beech leaves from the garden, photographed them on black perspex, and gave them a touch of nostalgia in the processing to produce today's blip.
It's much colder today.
