Act of defiance

Last minute checking and packing of the stuff that we move ourselves like meds, jewellery and the likes, movers arriving tomorrow. This bracelet belonged to somebody in mother-in-law's family, it contains 1 silver florin, two silver 25 cents coins and two silver ten cents coins, with the contours of Queen Wilhelmina's profile cut out (see extra). It was an act of defiance to wear something like this during the German Occupation of The Netherlands in WWII.
