Day 242- Adelaide

Bit of a restless night, as I found out today that one of the guys from the room, was playing Mr romantic and packed up his stuff in the middle of the night to fly to Tasmania after a girl he met two weeks ago. How sweet is that!!! So early start headed off for the markets. And they are amazing!!! So much better than the markets in Melbourne. I had a few things to get for the outback trip, so I set off on a mission, and by the end of the mission the Orange fella from bargain hunt would have a run for his money! I got a hat, fly net, torch (with free batteries!) And insect spray all for $20! Then went on a little walk and went into the migration museam, which was quite interesting, then a little further down was a aborgional museam, which at first was a little strange as the main exhibition was a model of a girl wearing a gas mask in the middle of a dark room but then it all began clear that the whole exhibition was revolved around the aboriginals alive at the time of the atomic bomb. In the 50s and 60s British goverment tested atomic bombs in south Australian desert the black mist from the bombs spread 250km causing immediate and long term sickness and death amongst the aborgional families, it was quite shocking the whole thing really.
So to call myself back down, I headed to palace nova cinema to watch the girl on the train.. very impressed! Emily blunt is amazing! To say it got quite bad reviews I really enjoyed it! And i was the only one in there! Finished that night watching finding nemo with my new roommate Kay who is from Japan :)
