Autumn in Bristol

A well deserved day off - inset day for the boys.

So walked through Eastville Park to the shops. Printed off some holiday snaps; bought a Halloween costume for C, and ate lunch at IKEA (£11 for 3 of us - a welcome change on the wallet after NYC prices!).

The trees are still quite autumnal here, and it was a lovely warm day. Swarms of ladybirds everywhere - presumably the heat is confusing them, on their attempts to start hibernating.

Bought a pumpkin yesterday (bargain at £1.50), so C drew a face on it - which I then cut out.  Roasted the scooped out bits, and made a lovely pumpkin soup, and also have a tub of roasted seeds to munch on.

Still got the NYC blips to backblip; but have put up Friday in Milford already.

Hopefully will get an album on Facebook and then sort out which are the ones to make it on here.... but as it's work tomorrow it's time for bed. Night all.
