Autumn Woodland

This was taken in woodland just north of Faslane Naval Base on the road through Glen Fruin. As the single-track road descends rapidly down to the main road there is some interesting woodland either side of the road. There will no doubt be more in this vein over the next few days as I am away on a photographic trip with my friend Eric and we intend to seek out some interesting autumn displays. It was overcast when we took these shots which probably helped enormously in obtaining a suitable exposure.
