A Little Ruff!

We headed off to Preston this weekend. My other half to spend the afternoon at the match, and me to watch the birdies at Martin Mere.

I think I got the better deal! I met up with fellow LPH photographer, and we sat and waited for the pink footed geese to arrive. (See extra) It's always quite a spectacle at this time of the year.

While we did, there were plenty of other birds around to entertain us including this sweet little ruff. We also saw marsh harriers and Bewick swans.

Our evening finished with watching Kung Ku Panda III on DVD. A birthday  present from me to my other half.............don't ask!
