Swoon

I witnessed a real-life swoon today!

Thought it was maybe a manifestation of a female condition confined to the pages of romantic fiction, but no, this one was real.

A group of our family were walking towards Surgeon's Hall this afternoon on the way to see the dance show "Soldier" (which was excellent).

As we walked down the street my daughter said "hi" to two young guys who were walking towards us, and they replied with a smile and "hi". It was only when I asked who she'd seen that she suddenly started flapping, crying, and generally swooning. She'd done that thing where you see someone famous and say hello to them because you know their face, even though there's no likelihood that they will know you.

The two visions in question were famous YouTube cult video-makers: Dan's not on Fire and Amazing Phil!
