Shredder

When J is at home it feels as though all the neighbourhood boys descend upon us. If they're kept occupied they're great, when they're not they can be a little annoying.

So J has a garden shredder now which he's using to shred garden waste and all the trees branches which are now being cut back by everyone. The neighbours love it! Last night they brought over a huge pile of branches to be shredded and did them this evening. It then all gets put on the compost.

I love the neighbourliness of our community. This evening Little J fell over some iron bars on the road and hurt his legs. One family came out of their house to offer to take him to hospital (!) and another family stopped their car and drove him home!
