Send in the clowns

I had to nip to the opticians after work to pick up my new glasses so it was another trip to the High Street for a blip. I don't know if it's just me, or whether I've just been unlucky with the times I've showed up but, with the odd notable exception, there doesn't seem to be anywhere near the same amount of colour or variety in costumes as there has been in recent years.

Perhaps it's the austerity Fringe...
