228/366 - We are going on an adventure!

"We are going on an adventure!" are the words I said to madam this morning. We decided to go to Blackpool today, lots of fun was had. The weather was fine when we got there and madam was determined we had to go to the beach as she wanted to go for a "swim". Instead we opted for dipping our toes in the water, collecting shells, building sand castles with her brothers and making footprints in the sand. She even got to go for a ride on a donkey. Unfortunately the weather didn't last, however we persevered until the heavens really opened! at that point we opted to get ourselves home asap. Soaked..... is there a word for more than soaked? as that is certainly how we all felt. However, an very enjoyable day out.
