Thistle

Sunny day so after hanging out washing etc I went back to Lochwinnoch to pick up my rucksack I had forgotten to pick up yesterday.

Walked down the path beside the Barr Loch. The Himalayan Balsam has gone crazy, it is out all along the side of the path and has grown tall. Fascinating to watch the bees land on the edge of the flower and crawling inside the flower out of sight.

Saw green veined white and small tortoise butterflies.
