Snow!

Today we drove up the Hanmer to find some snow.

We had a quick stop on the way to attend a family christing, well I attend it while S2 kept the boys entertained elsewhere.

After a stop for a fish'n'chips lunch, we headed up the hill, to find snow. The road was slippery, but we made it to the top and found just enough snow to make a snowman. Unfortunately there wasn't really enough snow for a good play, but the boys enjoyed the small time we did get.

In fact, the excitement of snow was far too much for LJ, it was the first time he had seen it, and he fell asleep during his bedtime story. Something that only seems to happen when we are on holiday...
