Monarch

I looked up and the sky was big and blue and empty except for this butterfly, who was gone so fast I only got the one shot.

I did save a garter snake during our ride at the park. K spotted it on our last hill, but couldn't tell what his status was so we lapped around again. We were going to herd it across the macadam, but he wasn't having any of that so I finally just picked him up and carried him across - yelling the whole time that he was peeing on me. K said, "yeah, they do that." I wouldn't have minded so much if I hadn't forgotten to put my gloves on and wasn't bothered to go back to the car and get them. See what lazy gets me? K had hand sanitizer in the car, of course, so we waited to high five our save.
