Abbotsford

Went with friends visiting from Essex on the Borders Railway to Abbotsford (one friend is an expert on and fan of Walter Scott).

This room, an airy relief from the weight of wood and artefacts in the other rooms) is the dining room in which Scott died.

Set up for Halloween tours.
