A New Bonsai.....

   This is a Boxwood, it is 3 or 4 years old.  I recently brought this tree home.  The trunk has been developed so that it looks like an old tree.  The top grew all that time to feed the trunk and let it "fatten" up.  Now, the top of the tree has been thinned, selectively pruned for ramification (thick to thinner) in 2-3 inches, and the front has been chosen, the primary branches are set, and now I am going to develop the secondary branches that bud out of the  primary branch.  Then, everything after the new branch will be selectively trimmed out.  It needs to grow a bit more before the decision is made to put it in a bonsai pot.
     Now that I have figured out how to photograph my bonsai plants, I think you will see more in my postings.
