Grasmere from Loughrigg Fell

This afternoon we set out from the cottage at Elterwater and walked over the hill towards Grasmere, through Redbank woods to Loughrigg Terrace and then up Loughrigg Fell from which this shot is taken.  The autumn colours were breathtaking and although the light was very flat, the views were beautiful.
