Mes amigos have come up trumps...the photos taken at Chartwell this afternoon remain on the internal memory of my camera as I discovered I hadn't put the SD card back after taking off yesterday's photos. 

I asked if we might make the most of this last day of the holiday and visit a National Trust property after church. So we chose Winston Churchill's home just outside Westerham. Great choice as tomorrow is the last day it is open before it closes for this year.  

The autumn colours were beautiful with lots of trees casting leaf reflections beneath their branches. Certainly getting cooler, and sadly it was dusk as we left at 5p.m....after a cream tea with friends who joined us during the afternoon.

My two weeks holiday has gone quickly and looking back over it I wonder what I have actually done, but there have been some good days to remember, and the routine of back to school is a good one.
