Sunday afternoon antics
An interrupted nights sleep for me, but guess I got enough shut eye overall.
We were up and out for just after 9 to collect daughter and granddaughter Emily, and then It was on to Cheshire to middle son and DiLs and their four girls for a fun filled family day.
The girls don't have chance to all get together that often, but when they do, they play really well together, and the older three are so good and patient with the two little ones. I couldn't choose a single image, as little Isabella decided to exit stage left on the group shot just as I'd got them lined up, and Emily was busy playing a game........so it just had to be a collage to include them all :-)
Now you can see why I was shopping yesterday for things for lunch.......for ten of us!
It all went down very well, not too much coaxing was needed with the little ones.
There was lots of fun during the afternoon when dad decided to make hot chocolate for them, complete with squirty cream and marshmallows :-)
Daughter, DiL and hub were busy scanning holidays on the laptop, it's not an easy task looking for something for six, when that includes four young ish children........its going to be a costly affair too!!!
I was kept busy with little Isabella mostly, she has chicken pots......not that you'd know it, she was still happy and smiley, mum is hoping Olivia catches them too, to get them over and done with. Everyone else has already had them :-)
The M6 wasn't too bad in either direction today thankfully. After we had dropped daughter and Emily off at her me, we got,in just in time for hub to watch his team on TV.....I think he rather wishes he hadn't bothered now :-/
Looking forward to Strictly results, I really hope lots of people voted for Greg and Natalie, after Craig's rather harsh and thoughtless critique last night!!
Youngest and his wife have been at a family christening today, I hope Padraig didn't cry and that they have had a lovely family day too.
