dawn of a new day

Since Daylight Savings Time will end here next Sunday, this is probably the last sunrise I will see for a while. It was really a fiery orange when I first took Laney out just before 7 am, but by the time I could go back in and get my camera, the blue sky had already started to emerge. Even so, I think the colors are nice.
It is also the "dawn of a new day" in the sense that today is the beginning of a week long prayer initiative for our nation prior to the presidential election.
