A Fight for the Food

By the seaward entrance to the estuary  a whole pile of trimmings from fish had been washed up. There were fish heads and spines  and fins that some fisherman must have just thrown overboard after cleaning and filleting their catch.

The seagulls were going crazy over it. One large gull wanted it all and vigorously fought off any other gull that came near, while snatching bites for himself.

Some, like the ones in this blip, came to blows over it.  There were plenty for all, but he was not prepared to share any. Some people are like that unfortunately.
