We Are In A Race Between Education And Catastrophe

The next in my occasional series of concert brochures. November 30, 1995, I went to see Janet Jackson at the Birmingham N.E.C. I was at Cardiff University at the time and, ridiculously, some of my fellow students took the piss out of me for going to a Janet Jackson concert, while the kinder ones warned me to "keep that one quiet." Just had an interesting little chat with Brendie regarding tribalism and music regarding my love of Gary Numan. So stupid. Well, the Rhythm Nation concert was amazing and I feel sorry for anyone who missed it because they thought Janet wasn't cred enough. I love her!
