Dunstanburgh Castle and back

A lovely day!  After a few weekend chores, MrM and I set off for Long Newton, where we met up with Anne and Malc, long-time friends from Wakefield. We had lunch at the Ship, then walked by the sea to Dunstanburgh Castle, and back by the path along the top of the dunes. Time for a quick drink at the Ship before they went back to their holiday accommodation and we set off home.

'Twas good to catch up with them both, and we all enjoyed the walk. It was more like summer than the end of October - 16deg according to the car thermometer - glorious!
