Why not you?

I enjoyed the Canon Roadshow in Johannesburg this morning.  As always, an entertaining event with presentations from 3 very talented photographers:  Quintin Mills (amongst his themes, some interesting food and boudoir work - the latter it seems as much about psychology as it is about photography .. giving women confidence in themselves, etc.), Andre Clements (who considers himself somewhere between an artist and a photographer) and Kierran Allen (his work includes this great time lapse video of his home town, Durban).  The basic message to everyone:  Why not you?  Believe in yourself (as a photographer) and you can be what you want to be. Always interesting to see how modestly these individuals started out.
