Connected !

Went up to Oxford st for some retail therapy ! Got some Cds - something I haven't done for a while ;-).
Had coffee and a baguette in M&S - had a lovely long chat with a couple from US , The wife  was from Malay  and had first come to  college in the UK in 1956  and  then taught English in Liverpool !. They were surprised I knew anything about Malay - so we ended up talking about the exploits of    Force 136 inWW2 . I have never met anyone who knows much about it !
Came outside and walked passed Selfridges where this busker was playing . I asked him who his favourite  guitarist was?? He said Mississippi John Hurt --he's mine too - so I  asked if I could take a pic . Asked him to play a tune but his guitar was in the wrong tuning !;-(

A day I felt connected with people I didn't know at all !
