Still colourful but fading round the edges

Dull, dark, damp morning ..... what has happened to the wonderful blue skies that we enjoyed throughout most of October.

When walking up from the bus stop I always take the route that passes J's garden.  Her flowers seem to bloom longer than everyone else's.  My garden is sadly lacking in colour now ... even the acer is dropping its leaves to form a shrivelling red carpet on the earth.
