Hoofing it

A last minute reprieve for me as I was due to be working today.  It would have been my 3rd weekend on the trot.   I didn't argue with Ed when she said she would cover Saturday.
I hoofed it out of that office last night with great joy.  The only down side is that I miss my Lottie.

We were awake very early.  Pete went off to do a 7am supermarket shop and on his return we went for an early looping walk from the house.    We surprised this chap as he galloped about on the aerodrome.
It is really mild today but very dull and grey.  Tee shirt weather for our walk.

A treat to get an early blip done and now I've done this I'm going to call the oldsters.  Yesterday was not so good for them so lord knows what today will bring.
