735. Old Friends....

We met up with some old friends from my days back in Elgin...we hadn't seen them since this time last year when they came to stay with us here...it was so nice to see them again and to catch up on each others' lives.

This is my hubby with my friend's hubby, a former Royal Marine and an all round amazing man....one of life's great survivors and completely undaunted by whatever life throws at him...and he has had to cope with so many things...a truly inspirational man.

My friend is a artist and it was so wonderful to hear of all her amazing adventures as an artist doing mainly performance art all over the world...here is a link to one of her works completed in 2013 in Ethiopia ...

She had an interesting experience doing this and it wasn't as happy an experience as it looked in the film....she has been invited to Alexandria in Egypt to do some more work but is having to consider whether or not it is safe for her to go...especially after her Ethiopian experience!

Last day here today then back home to yet another busy week.....
