Cold on Gold

Mount Gold that is and it is a little chilly out today with a new coat of white on the mountains. Oh  AND The Bossess did get home yesterday BUT it was another 2 landing thingie and a lovely tour of the local mountains from 35000 ft (in the dark) between tries. The Boss was watching on his iPhone with Flight Radar App and really expected her to go back to Auckland at one point but the Airbus turned and had another run at it and managed to hit the ground, hit the brakes, hit the engine reverse thrust and not hit anything vital. We are very proud of our Air NZ pilots that know the Queenstown area really well and the folk on the plane all cheered the success. The Boss was really pleased he was not there.
I have travelled on a very rough plane trip once when I went to stay with my mum while the “B’s” were over seas and was the only one on the plane not green when we landed.

We have had a dog drive a car here a couple of years ago but we have yet to teach one to fly a plane.  Maybe when they get pilotless planes I can have a go.
Right?

Tuss
