Sugar skulls

Friday with Fiona.  We stopped at an art store to get some polymer clay to mold in the skull molds and some puff paint to paint them with.   She did a great job with the sugar ones I made last night...they ARE edible , just sugar and meringue powder, but they're not very tasty.   We talked about who we'd like to meet on the Dia de los Muertos ... And how my mom would just love to hear there might be a woman president!  Oskar came over to  dinner while his parents went out  and decorated one skull.... We still have some clay ones to paint...tried both the bake and the air dry ones...might be the way to go...
I really liked the color in the extra at the playground after school but wanted to record the skulls ... All I managed today were a few with the iphone...
