A lot of bull.....

Another day of cattle work. One decided he couldn't make it to work today, so had to depend on the vintage employees to help bring in the 8 bulls from the field, shed out the 4 I needed and put the other 4 back again. A job that requires undivided attention as they can explode into a fight at any moment .
Put the 4 limousins out to 4 different lots of cows so hopefully that is the start of next years calves.
After lunch sorted out more cows here and tagged 10 wee calves. Not a bad days work.
Still thousands of geese making their nightly fly past to the reservoir. They are now starting to attack the grass fields instead of the barley stubbles. Time for a call to the shooting boys before long if they don't move on.
