Final farewell

Surrounded by loving family, friends, neighbours and care staff, we all said a fond farewell to pa-in-law today.

It is sad that this is when we often see those extended family members. However, it was lovely to talk over past events and share fond memories together with laughter. Many comments of him being a "true gentleman" :).

Enjoyed the evening with our children talking about their happy memories with their grandad.

[Early night, daughter and son-in-law have a 6am flight back home tomorrow.]
