No Smoking

On campus. The Japanese sentence tells that smoking is allowed only at smoking areas. There are many other signs like this around the campus.

Speaking of the word smoking, I learned from my dictionary that the Smoke, apparently a British obsolete expression, refers to a big city or town, especially London. City nicknames always look interesting, and I'd like to find out more when I have time.

I don't have much time to spare these days, but I try to bring my camera with me, hoping to capture as many signs as I can on campus.
