Therapy
Not the lazy day I usually enjoy after the late night arrival.
Normal work in the morning. Then after lunch over to the recycling centre to "recycle'" garden waste (trees) into firewood.
This stage involved sawing up the metre length pieces into stove sized bits, and then putting them into the trailer ready for delivery.
Fortunately the centre owner now has a machine which both saws the logs and puts them in the trailer. The donkey work (my contribution) was to get the logs from the stack to the saw.
Dirty, noisy and tiring, but therapeutic too. The therapeutic bit was thinking of the cold beer waiting after we'd finished... and the main reward of dinner in the local pizza place.
Stage 2 is tomorrow - stacking the logs in the woodshed. More beer afterwards I suppose. Hellish, eh...
