Just Hangin' Around ....

Today was much nicer than yesterday so we decided to go back up to Kettle Creek Environmental Center .... this time during the daylight hours!

There are several walking trails that this environmental center that we wanted to check out.  As soon as we arrived we were rewarded by seeing several different bird species ... and throughout the day we ended up seeing around 11 different birds.  And both red and gray squirrels.

My picture was taken along one of the trails.  I thought this hanging leaf looks like a dog .... Underdog to be specific!  Does anyone remember Underdog?!?

Speaking of hanging around .... before we left the house this afternoon I caught this Cooper's Hawk hanging out in our birch tree.  Much to me displeasure he/she has been around quite a bit lately.
