Difficult Day!

How often do we have these? well hopefully I am on to a winner. I went to the Pain Specialist and the Medical Specialist today, I was so down and fed up with the pain and my inability to do much. It all came to a head yesterday so todays visit came just in time. The Specialist asked me if I'd be willing to try Botox, he explained it all to me and my Husband was with me, there was no doubt in our minds, go for it. He said it would be painful, wow he wasn't mistaken. He had to map out my foot and decided to do 8 injections, I was a little concerned that he said it would be painful, but I'm brave, in an effort to limit the injections he put the needle in and pulled and twisted it through my foot, my husband was watching and he said he couldn't believe how calm I was and how still I kept, he could see how painful it would be, to me it felt like a hot razor blade slicing through my flesh. But although it is very sore now, it should settle down to give good relief, so I'm very happy.
