Busy day today - shop in the morning, then in the early evening off to one of the polling stations to sit outside and collect numbers from people (not many!) coming to vote in the town council by-election. This was occasioned by the resignation of 5 councillors in four of the five wards.
I'm glad it's over - for now - no more leafletting for a few months. Why do people who have multiple steps up to their door always seem to have letter-boxes at ankle level? Is it to provide me with a work-out?!
