Spooky Dalkeith House

Finished work and collected Kilda before heading over to Dalkeith Country Park to meet the Cani-Sport Edinburgh group for a run. There was a lot of fog around over the fields and my head torch isn’t up to much even with new batteries. Kilda started out OK but then got spooked by the dark and the trees on the paths. It was wet and muddy on the route around. After a while we fell behind, as Kilda wouldn’t run in front of me just behind me due to the dark. She wasn’t happy. Susan kindly waited for us and we cut back early to the car park. Kilda was fine once we got back to the car but a bit wet and muddy. Will have to get her her own harness and hopefully the new head torch will come this week. Here is a quick snap of Dalkeith country house through the fog.
