Dinner with my mother: salad and french fries

My mother lives north of Utrecht, where I live. She sometimes works south of my city and when she drives home, she passes the junction to my flat. On those days she often parks her car there, and we walk downtown to eat soup or drink tea. Other times she picks me up and we drive to her house together.

But the company she works for is relocating to another town, and I am going to Germany in three weeks time. So this is one of the last times we can do this. And therefore we decided to really go have dinner. We went to a nice restaurant on the edge of Utrecht and had wine, a salad, french fries, tea and cheesacake. We had a great time.

In the picture are the salad, the fries and the wine. The fries were seasoned with (I think) paprika and salt, which was very tasty.
