Weirdo weather

Dog walk in fog and bleakness, Will and I went swimming, to Lidls (where they now have a full complement of Christmas supplies if you are interested. And if you are not, you should be) then home for a sit me down, some hack about gardening and then made chocolate chip cookies all by himself. That was a far better option than French fancies which would have involved us both and to be honest looked a real faff. Daisy has been to work, hopefully primarily learning the importance of working hard at school to avoid dull jobs in the future.

Oh, and if you should ever have the opportunity to go and see Monty Don talk, you should go. It was interesting, funny, entertaining, lovely. He is just brilliant.
