A short walk

A day of domestic drudgery today so I went out for a walk late afternoon to get some fresh air. The walk wasn't as far as I hoped; this field has been left to grass with a couple of well trodden paths across it for as long as I can remember but it has now been ploughed and I didn't have suitable shoes on to walk across in the mud. I took an alternative path which runs through the wood on the right and follows a stream by the field edge, but a fallen tree branch had completely blocked the way so I had to turn back. I could have taken another route but that meant heading back into the village and back out again so in the end I just headed home. I only took a few fairly uninspiring shots; this is the best of a bad bunch!
