Mission: Ice Cream

I have been trying to run down our freezer in preparation for cooking some big batches of chilli, bolognese, curries and casseroles (the theory being that it should make life a bit easier when I go back to work in a few weeks).

We've had a few odd meals as a result but my efforts received a boost yesterday when I discovered that my husband (and thank goodness it was him, ha, ha!) had left the freezer door open more than 24 hours earlier and so it ended up being emptied slightly sooner than expected. Somehow we've managed to fill most of it again now... mostly with ice cream & lollies! Can't imagine getting rid of this lot will be any problem, though.

I thought it would be nice to dedicate this blip to Geoblogs, who's been on a bit of a food mission himself lately!
