Journey To The Stars

Turning out to be a cultural half-term for me. Monday was the Pompei exhibition, yesterday was an exhibition of Venetian Renaissance artists such as Veronese, Titian, Tintoretto and Bellini and today an exhibition of art by anime artists Leiji Matsumoto and his wife Miyako Maki. Leiji Matsumoto is famous for such classic manga as Galaxy Express 999, Space Battleship Yamato and Space Pirate Captain Harlock. What a treat, I got to take a Journey To The Stars with Maetel.

Miyako Maki is most famous for her manga version of the classic Tales of Genji, and for creating the popular Licca-chan doll.
