I am at a loss for words tonight and overcome with sadness.  My very dear friend Karen, whom I have known since our high school years together in France died last night. Karen wasn’t just liked by everyone, she was adored.  With an endearing sense of humor and delightful southern charm, she was such a joy to be around. A bright light has gone out.  I can’t believe I won’t ever see her again.
