On the bench

A very difficult day. This bench is at the local hospital where we took a certain young man today in the hope that he might get some help there. Vain hope.

So tonight we had to turn to the forces of law and order.

I am only writing this as a record of my day. Those are some of the facts. We have entered a new stage. I was scared. But I feel as if some of the weight has been taken away.
