Autumnal

Bailey and I headed out for a walk down the canal this morning after breakfast. No sunshine or blue sky but no rain either and there were very few people out and about to spoil the peace and quiet. Bailey stood fairly patiently for me to take some shots of the canal bridge and the leaf-clad steps which were distinctly autumnal in their coverage. 

A trip to the nurse this afternoon for Mum to have her dressing taken off but not replaced - finally. And then a food shop with the crutches in the trolley. 

Tonight we have watched Bake Off with a win for our third favourite - after the two that had departed in earlier programmes. And Bailey slept right through it. Just like he will no doubt sleep through our trip to the other side tomorrow.
